McKay High School Automotive – CTE Program

Automotive Tech McKayMcKay has four levels in their Automotive Program of Study, starting with Automotive Technology I progressing to Advanced Automotive. Whithnell Service Summer Camp

Students who are program
completers have the opportunity to earn 5 credits, 10 ASE student
certifications and 15 college credit now credits.

The beginning level classes are a half semester the Advanced levels are a full year and a year long lab class must be taken along with the advanced classes.

  1. This looks like a great program. I love to see high school students be able to get an education in something they can directly apply to a career. Mechanics is a good paying career with many various fields to go into.

  2. Our public schools have needed programs like this for a long time. These programs will be a real advantage for many students, and our community.
